We are the Dougli (pronounced like “Foci”).  Our last name is really “Douglas”, but pluralizing it is difficult for most people.  Hence, you do not have to worry about where the apostrophe went (if there was one to worry about - look we made you think!) when pluralizing a word that ends in the letter “s”.

Our family has five members.  Dad and husband Jeff, wife and mother Teresa, busy-bee Jack (aka the “heir”) and sweet baby Kyle (aka the “spare”).  The fifth family member is our fantastic golden retriever/black lab mix, Lucy. 

This site is all about our family.  It will include amazing accomplishments, awards and life achievements... OK, not really, it will most likely be full of mundane everyday stuff that will make you wonder “why the hell am I reading this?”.  But then again you must love us to have read this far, you may as well keep going.

We promise to add lots of pictures of our ridiculously cute kids and dog and tell you about the things that we find hysterical and life changing. However, this is going under the assumption that we will actually update this blog which would be a miracle since we can barely keep up with the laundry.  Speaking of, I think the dryer just buzzed...
